CLASS OF 2025 ACADEMIC RESULTS

The exceptional achievements of the Class of 2025 uphold our proud tradition of academic excellence while reflecting the character, resilience, and determination that define an IGGS education. From their first day in the classroom to their final examinations, our girls have embraced challenges, pursued opportunities, and demonstrated that Omnia Superat Diligentia – Diligence Overcomes All.

For these graduates, their results represent the culmination of years of learning, growth, and commitment. While academic success is only one measure of education, it is an important milestone that speaks to the strength of our personalised programs and the dedication of our young people.

Behind every achievement lies sustained effort, disciplined organisation, and unwavering perseverance; qualities that will serve them well beyond school. These achievements are also a testament to the dedication of our staff, the support of families, and the strength of our community.

A Girls’ Grammar Education That Delivers
An IGGS education is more than academic success; it is an investment in a future of possibilities. Our graduates leave equipped with critical thinking skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. The Class of 2025 has demonstrated extraordinary academic success, positioning IGGS among Queensland’s leading schools.

The 2025 Miss Tatham’s Memorial Prize for Dux of the School is awarded to
Grace Doyle, who achieved an ATAR of 99.35 and hopes to study a Bachelor of Pharmacy at The University of Queensland. Second in Year 12, a Gift of the Brisbane Branch of the Old Girls Association, is awarded to Lillian Fox, who achieved an ATAR of 99.05.

Across the cohort, 3% of students received an ATAR of 99 or above, placing them in the top 1% in Queensland, and more than half of our girls achieved an ATAR of 90 or above. The median ATAR for the Class of 2025 was an impressive 90.675.

Students achieved perfect scores in 12 external assessments, and 12 students achieved A grades in all their subjects. Nine students received perfect scores on one or more of their external exams for Modern History,
English, Design, Music Extension – Composition, Design, Literature, Drama, and Music.

Ten students received a Certificate of Academic Commendation from QCAA and 8 girls received a Certificate of Subject Commendation.

Beyond these individual honours, 32% of students achieved 95 out of 100 or higher for their final result in one or more subjects across 19 General Subjects.

Celebrating Success, Shaping Futures
Early university places were offered to 18 students in Education, Health Science, Business, Architecture and Building, Design, Economics, Engineering, and Psychology.

Alongside ATAR success, 37% of Year 12s achieved Vocational Education and Training (VET) Certificates or studied traineeships across 18 different courses, in conjunction with their ATAR or Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE). These students leave school with work-ready skills, enabling them to seek employment or further training. Their achievements reflect the diversity of aspirations within our cohort, and we are proud of them all.

Every Senior attained a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE), a powerful testament to our students’ perseverance, the strength of our personalised learning strategies, and the consistent support structures in place to help every girl succeed.

The accomplishments in 2025 extend far beyond academic results; they reflect resilience, curiosity, and a commitment to personal growth. As our 2025 graduates step into an exciting new chapter, we wish them every success and look forward to the positive impact they will make in their communities and chosen fields.

Ipswich Girls’ and Junior Grammar School will continue to deliver personalised teaching and learning, broaden our immersive programs, and strengthen partnerships with families and the wider community; guided by our motto, Omnia Superat Diligentia - Diligence Overcomes All.
