As Boarders move into more senior year levels, they enjoy increasing degrees of independence and trustworthiness (in terms of leave and other privileges). The girls learn about taking responsibility for themselves, their small community, and decisions made about life in the boarding house.
Some senior boarders gain experience from a weekend job, provided that the hours of work are during the day. Others prefer to participate in extra sporting and cultural activities outside the School.
There are opportunities for senior students to assume leadership roles and help younger boarders settle in, showing them how to adjust to the routines and expectations of boarding school life and still have fun times.
