I am honoured and delighted to be the 11th Principal of Ipswich Girls’ Grammar School and our coeducational campus, Ipswich Junior Grammar School.
This is a wonderful School with a rich heritage and many strong traditions. My vision is simple: to make this great School even greater. We can do this by building on the successes of the past with a sense of pride in where we have come from and the achievements of those who went before us, while moving the School forward in the 21st century.
Ipswich Girls' Grammar School and Ipswich Junior Grammar School provide a complete and contemporary education for young boys, girls and young women in a friendly setting, preparing each student for success in a complex and changing world.
Our Schools are highly regarded for friendliness, strength of spirit, and commitment to keeping class-sizes small and personal.
We are also known for nurturing positive attitudes to the hard work and discipline required to achieve and sustain excellence - in the classroom, at sport, on the stage, for all endeavour. Our supportive learning programs favour not only the exceptional students at either end of the academic scale, but indeed all students, whatever their goals and challenges might be.
It’s the particular way our experienced staff teach the innovative, challenging curriculum and the care they invest in each student’s personal development and well-being that maintains our School’s proud record of achievement.
I invite you to visit us via this website and discover for yourself why we are so proud of our students' success.
If excellence, leadership, individualised care, and preparation for life beyond school are important for the kind of education you desire for your child, Ipswich Girls' Grammar School and Ipswich Junior Grammar School welcome you to our School community.
