Digital Education Revolution at IJGS
Through the Digital Education Revolution initiative, the Australian Government aims to bring substantial and meaningful change to teaching and learning in Australian schools to prepare students for further education and training, jobs of the future and to live and work in a digital world.
A key component of the Digital Education Revolution is the National Secondary School Computer Fund that is to provide new and upgraded information and communication technologies for secondary schools with the main aim of achieving a 1 to 1 computer to student ratio by 31 December 2011.
At Ipswich Girls’ Grammar, we used these funds to transform two of the old Junior School classrooms under the John Hancock building into computer labs.
If you would like to provide feedback to the school on this matter please email firstname.lastname@example.org .
