PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEES

Australian Students and Permanent Residents of Australia:
Tuition and Boarding Fees are charged by the term.  There are four terms per year.  Please note that the payment of all school fees is required by the due date (first day of each term).  Late payment will incur an administration fee of $120.

  • Term 1 Fees payable by 27 January 2016
(early payment discount date is 20 January)
  • Term 2 Fees payable by 11 April 2016
(early payment discount date is 4 April)
  • Term 3 Fees payable by 11 July 2016
(early payment discount date is 4 July)
  • Term 4 Fees payable by 4 October 2016
(early payment discount date is 27 September)

A discount of $60 per term on both tuition and boarding fees will apply if payment is received by 4.00pm one week prior to the due date.  Early payment discount dates are outlined above.

Full Fee Paying Overseas Students
Tuition and Boarding Fees are charged by the semester. There are two semesters per year.  Please note that the payment of all school fees is required by the due date at the commencement of each semester.  Late payment will incur an administration fee of $120.

  • Semester 1 Fees payable by 27 January 2016
(early payment discount date is 20 January)
  • Semester 2 Fees payable by 11 July 2016
(early payment discount date is 4 July)

A discount of $120 per semester on both tuition and boarding fees will apply if payment is received by 4.00pm one week prior to the due date.  Early payment discount dates are outlined above.

Sibling discount:
The Board of Trustees have approved the following discounts on tuition fees:

  • For the second student from one family attending the School concurrently, 5%

  • For third and subsequent students from one family attending the School concurrently, 10%

  • Where a family has children attending Girls' Grammar/Junior Grammar and IGS concurrently, a further 3.5% discount will be allowed.

Please contact the Business Services Office in relation to sibling discounts.

Payment may be made by cheque, cash or EFTPOS.  For other methods, refer to the Fees Statement. Credit card commission charges for all payments to the School will be charged back to the cardholder.

School Plan:
School Plan is a school fee payment service that spreads your child’s school fees (tuition / boarding) into manageable fortnightly or monthly payments as an alternate method of paying school fees, whilst still being eligible for prompt payment discount. Visit www.schoolplan.com.au for further information.

Late Payment Fee:
Where accounts are not paid by due date, a Late Payment Administration Fee of $120 per term will be charged.  Allowance should be made for external agencies processing time. Approved payment arrangements that are in place to pay accounts by the end of each term will avoid the late payment fee provided there is no default in the terms of the arrangement. Where accounts are referred to a Collection Agency, these costs will be added to the amount outstanding.

Board Fee Payment Policy:
As per Board of Trustees policy, no student will be allowed to commence a new term whilst all or part of the previous term’s fees remain unpaid unless special arrangements are set in place and are maintained. Arrangements are subject to regular review. The School’s Fee Payment Policy is available by clicking here.

Where fees are not paid by the due date, payment arrangements are available, however, such payments can only be made by direct bank debit authority.  No other payment arrangements are acceptable.

ITEMS NOT INCLUDED IN THE TUITION FEES
Additional fees are payable on a user-pays basis for activities, via the school website or charged to the parent account.  Where charged to the account, this will be at the end of each term for costs incurred by the School and due for payment with tuition fees by the due date.  Note that EEC and Outside School Hours Care are billed separately.
