Applying for a place at Girls' Grammar and Junior Grammar – the 5-step process

A copy of the school prospectus and other relevant information will be sent to your correspondence address. A staff member from the Enrolments office will contact you should you have any immediate questions requiring a response. You may also call the School directly on 07 3454 4401 during business hours and ask to speak with the Enrolments Registrar.
Applies to students enrolling more than four years in advance.
If you would prefer to skip the enquiry stage of this process and register your child's application for future enrolment today, please download, complete and submit a Junior School Student Registration Form for Prep to Year 6 or Middle/Senior School Student Registration Form for Years 7 to 12 then post or fax it to the School with the accompanying Registration Fee of A$110 per child.
When the Registration Form and Registration Fee have been received at the School, we will send you a letter of acknowledgment. Junior School Students who have registered for enrolment in 2014 and beyond will be sent a Student Enrolment Form in the year prior to the stated year of entry. Middle and Senior School students will be sent a Student Enrolment Form 18-24 months prior to the stated year of entry.
3. Application - For Student Enrolment
Enrolment for mid-term placement will be considered upon request. Where a vacancy exists in the desired year level the enrolment process will be accelerated.
For enrolment for Prep to Year 12 in the next three years, download the Student then post, fax or scan and email it to the School with the Application Fee of A$110 per child and copies of the relevant documentation (e.g. birth certificate, school reports, NAPLAN testing results, etc).
When the completed Student Enrolment Form has been received by the School, we will send you a letter of acknowledgment.
The next step is to arrange an Enrolment Interview. The School will contact you to make the appointment.
Interviews for JuniorGrammar enrolments (Kindergarten to Year 6) take place in the year prior to entry. Interviews for Middle and Senior School enrolments (Years 7 to 11) are conducted 18 to 24 months prior to entry.
If an immediate mid-term entry is desirable and vacancies in that Year Level exist, the interview will be arranged as soon as possible.
5. Offer of a Place
Following an assessment of the enrolment application and the interaction that occurs at the enrolment interview, you will receive a letter to advise whether or not your application has been successful.
If your son or daughter is offered a place, you will be asked to confirm your acceptance of the offer and to include a non-refundable Confirmation Fee with your written acceptance. For boys commencing in any Year Level from Prep to Year 6, the Fee is AUD$250.00. For girls commencing in any Year Level from Prep to Year 12, the fee is AUD$500.00.
If your son or daughter’s application for enrolment is declined, the letter will explain the reason for this decision.
